Every symbol you combine is the result of an exact chain of 
Bolts.
To unlock the ultimate reward of the twelfth level on Merge Island, you need to understand the principle of duplication. Since each new symbol is created from two identical symbols of the previous stage, the energy requirement does not grow linearly, but exponentially.
It all starts with your first Bolt. This generates a basic Level 1 symbol. To reach the next level, this investment doubles every time. While Level 2 only costs a modest 2 Bolts, you will notice by Level 5 that the journey becomes more demanding.
Exponential Growth
Because you need two symbols from the previous level for each higher symbol, the costs per level double. While Level 2 only costs 2 Bolts, Level 6 already requires 32 Bolts, and Level 10 a staggering 512 Bolts.
The Goal
For the final symbol of Level 12, you must combine numerous symbols. This means an investment of several thousand Bolts to complete the entire merge chain from start to finish.

⚠️ Keep an eye on your board! Since you need over two thousand clicks, you should use your Bolts in stages to ensure you never run out of space for new combinations. Clever players clear out small stages immediately to make room for big leaps.
